Asaf David Fulks is a licensed California attorney based in the Inland Empire who brings a distinctive blend of legal expertise, technical skill, and entrepreneurial experience to every matter he handles. He currently serves as an Associate Attorney at Sellar Hazard & Lucia LLP, where he focuses on insurance defense, construction defect litigation, and civil litigation on behalf of major insurance carriers and their insureds.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Asaf attended The Leelanau School in northern Michigan before graduating from Denison University with a B.A. in Computer Science and a minor in Economics in 2004, where he studied C++ programming and SQL databases. It was at Denison that he discovered his passion for music production, transforming his dorm room into a recording studio and attracting talent from the Columbus, Ohio area.
In 2005, Asaf moved to California and founded The OC Recording Company — an internationally recognized recording studio, record label, and NPSAG-accredited audio school. Over two decades, his production credits span platinum-selling artists, Grammy and Emmy winners, Disney, Universal Pictures, Showtime, Netflix, ESPN, Sony Music, NBC Songland, Power Rangers, and the NBA. His clients include Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, KRS-One, Terrence Howard, Skylar Stecker (3M+ YouTube views), Audrina Patridge, RiceGum (10M+ subscribers), and many more. He mixed and mastered three #1 hit records written by Meghan Trainor for Common Kings and Tenelle, and engineered Moe Rock’s gold-certified international hit “Baby June.” His hit song “Breakout” became the theme song for the LA Clippers and St. Louis Cardinals. Voice-over clients include Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Blizzard Entertainment, and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. His first compilation album earned him the title “Timbaland of the West Coast” from West Coast Performer magazine. He is a former Grammy voting member, the author of In the Studio with Asaf Fulks, and holds a U.S. patent for microphone technology along with federal trademark and copyright protections.
While building his entertainment business, Asaf pursued his dream of becoming a lawyer. He enrolled part-time at Taft Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2022 after passing the California Bar Exam, Baby Bar, and MPRE on his first attempts. He served as commencement speaker for his graduating class and currently sits on Taft Law School's Advisory Board.
Asaf is also a passionate Bitcoin advocate with deep expertise in self-custody protocols, tax-advantaged integration strategies, and digital asset estate planning. He operates solar-powered mining equipment and actively educates on cryptocurrency through his social media presence on Nostr and X.
